On Cosmetics Clutches patterns printed before November 7, 2013, there is an error in the cutting directions for the bias binding. Please cut the strips 2¼" wide rather than 2½". If you cut the 14" squares of fabric for the bias binding, there will not be sufficient fabric for cutting 2½" strips.
