In 1926, Edgar Charles Birch set up shop in Melbourne’s Flinders Lane with only 100 pounds and a suitcase of sewing needles, safety pins, press studs and elastic.
As Edgar’s family joined him in business, he was able to expand the company across Australia, and he soon began embarking on international buying trips to source the most up-to-date products.
To this day, Birch Creative remains a family owned and operated business, with four generations of the family working in the company who are all proud to continue Edgar’s legacy.
More than 90 years later, the Birch name remains synonymous with quality, value, and outstanding customer service.
